It was during my 3 months "forced" sabbatical when i tried to make myself busy by trying to figure out how to make my own jewelry. It has been 2 years and I have not stop until now. For a little while my collection was simply called "Tinka" but I found out that someone else snached 'em before I did, so nowIi'm still on the look for a new name that suits my collection. Any ideas? anyone?anyone? Please e-mail me at salaysius@gmail.com if you do. Anyhoooooo.....here are some pictures from my past work. If you are located in Chicago, you can find my collection at P+L Boutique in Clark and Wellington. I'm currently working on my new collection which I will be posting soon. :) Thanks to lovely Grace Firmansjah and Edwin Halim for the beautiful photographies.

Frank Stella: Painting into Architecture On The Roof Garden at the MET 2007

I was lucky to be able to catch Frank Stella's Exibition at the MET last year during my yearly visit to NYC. The set was the most dramatic outdoor space for sculpure in NYC, which offers spectacular views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. He was born in 1936. Since the late 1950's , Stellas has occupied a prominent place among leading artists and continued to expand the boundaries of what abstract painting and sculpture can be. (text summarized from the MET website)

*SEVERELY GLAMOROUS* a Malicious Non-Serious Blog From an Insomniac

It was 2:27 am on November 22, 2008. I woke up with a sharp pang in my head. Feeling disoriented and there is no way I can go back to sleep. Yeah, I woke up in the middle of the night with the urge to start a design blog. An obnoxious blog i wanted to share with the rest of the world. Well.... I do have a good taste in my blood, or i just simply-utterly fab. Also, I can't stand looking at ugly things, it depresses me, really! no kidding! Whatever, damn it, I just couldn't go back to sleep that's it, and I just happen to like create and surrounded by beautiful things. I think this is necessary with all the "icky" stuffs going on in the world now, aren't you agree dahhhliinnggs? So, stop watching the news and enjoy! Everything is going to be alright. Yeah, I hope I can go back to sleep after I figure-out this new blogging thing.

PS: Thanks to Julie Purpura Helms, my "work wife" who has been encouraging me to be a blogger junkie. Yes dear, I think I kinda hooked now.
