I was lucky to be able to catch Frank Stella's Exibition at the MET last year during my yearly visit to NYC. The set was the most dramatic outdoor space for sculpure in NYC, which offers spectacular views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. He was born in 1936. Since the late 1950's , Stellas has occupied a prominent place among leading artists and continued to expand the boundaries of what abstract painting and sculpture can be.
